1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website or using our services ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to be bound by these Terms, do not use the Services. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and SwiftShip.

2. User Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information for both the sender and the recipient. You are responsible for ensuring that your shipment is properly and securely packaged to withstand the ordinary rigors of transportation. You warrant that your shipment is not of a character or nature that is prohibited by law or by the rules of SwiftShip.

3. Payment and Charges

All charges for Services are stated in Indian Rupees (₹) and are due and payable before the shipment is processed unless otherwise agreed for corporate accounts. Shipment charges are calculated based on the greater of the actual weight or volumetric weight of the shipment. We reserve the right to change our prices at any time; however, any price changes will not affect bookings that have already been confirmed.

4. Prohibited Items

You are prohibited from tendering for shipment any of the following:

• Items classified as hazardous material, dangerous goods, or articles prohibited or restricted by IATA (International Air Transport Association), ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization), or any applicable law.
• Firearms, weaponry, ammunition, and their parts.
• Currency, cash, stocks, bonds, or other negotiable instruments.
• Perishable foodstuffs and temperature-sensitive goods unless using our designated "Special Handling" service.
• Live animals, human remains, or ashes.
• Illegal narcotics or psychotropic substances.
• Any item which you do not have a legal right to possess or ship.

We reserve the right to open and inspect any shipment without notice for safety, security, customs or other regulatory reasons.

5. Limitation of Liability

SwiftShip's liability for any loss or damage to your shipment is limited. Unless you declare a higher value and purchase enhanced insurance, our liability is limited to the lesser of ₹5,000 or the actual value of the lost or damaged goods. SwiftShip shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of income or profits.

6. Claims

Any claim for loss or damage must be made in writing to SwiftShip within seven (7) calendar days from the date of delivery. All claims must be accompanied by supporting documentation, including proof of value. Failure to comply with these conditions will result in the claim being denied.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SwiftShip, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Services or your violation of these Terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of these Terms will be brought exclusively in the competent courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
